Very Rare and Fine Chinese Verte Glazed Playing Fu Lion

Kangxi period, AD 1662-1722

Description

Finely modelled with great detail; the Fu Lion displaying remarking animated pose.  One of the rarest types of these figures, that are extremely rare to encounter today outside of museum collections.

Length: 5 ¾ inches (14.5 cm.)
Ex: French Collection (acquired from Wannieck)
