Decorated along the exterior with archaistic
dragons; the interior, with a similar wide band
along the lip, and with vajras in the center.
All finely painted. The underfoot bears an
apocryphal Chenghua mark, and it seems clear
from both the form and decoration that this
bowl is directly based upon a Chenghua prototype.
Kangxi period, AD 1662-1722
Diameter: 6 ½ inches (16.5 cm.)
Ex: Enschede Collection, Netherlands
