Forming a true pair, right and left. The figures from their dress appear to be European and likely Dutch or English. Their seated position, however, is more Asiatic and no doubt based upon the artists' inexperience with Westerners. Related examples are known but this is the first pair we have encountered and with this type of Fu Lion.
