Description

Of quatrefoil form with overarching bale-style handle and everted spout.  The cover of complementary shape.
Decorated with wide reserves of archaic dragons amidst stylized flowerhead.  Finely painted in yellow and aubergine on contrasting and alternating yellow and green backdrops.
The enamels of deep and vibrant hue.  A rare type and very rare decoration.  The quality is commensurate to those in the finest early recorded Western collections- including those in the former Gow and Bennett Collections.
