Description

Posed standing foursquare upon rectangular bases.Each is finely modeled, with slender legs and full bodies.The head of each is modeled with distinct features including perked ears, flaring nostrils, round eyes, and partially open mouths and with overall friendly expressions.The head of one camel is turned toward the viewer (which is unusual).Each with pack including saddlebags, rabbits, and jugs.
Of the Sui/ early Tang dynasty, ca: 6th/ early 7th century
